In the second part of this vlog series on Information Technology in schools, I discuss the role of IT as it should be: a service. IT should be a service unit to the school helping every member of the school community work towards the school’s mission of teaching students. I discuss some resources for educating the IT staff and helping them understand the needs of educators. I also talk about certification and training around IT service models.
